Recreational and leisure activities provide an opportunity for positive growth for the youth of Medina. Some programs offered through our MCRC specific for this age group include sports leagues, educational programs, enrichment camps, technology workshops, karate, and dance classes.
BABYSITTER’S TRAINING
Ages: 11-16 Years Old
•New & Revised American Red Cross course with 9 hours of training
•Students learn First Aid, rescue breathing, injury prevention and safety
•Learn to make good decisions, solve problems and handle emergencies such as injuries, illnesses and household accidents while caring for children & infants
•Bring a baby doll to class for diaper changing practice
•Bring a snack to class
•Class fee includes a take-home CD

ALL MIDDLE SCHOOL DANCE
Ages: Grades 6-8
Location: MCRC Field House
•All area middle schoolers invited
•DJ, inflatables, dancing & fun
•Parent volunteers welcome
